Switching to Jobber for sub carpentry jobs, worth the $50/month?

I've been solo doing finish carpentry for years, quoting trim installs and custom cabinets by hand, but subcontracting more now and it's a mess tracking schedules. Switched to Jobber last month at $50 a month and it's streamlined my quoting for deck framing gigs big time, no more lost emails. Anyone else using it for sub work? Saw a post in Carpenters of America group about it saving their ass on a big remodel.
Jobber's turned my sub gigs into a well-oiled machine, quoting a $8k staircase job in under 10 minutes flat. proud to say it's bumped my close rate to 85% without the usual paperwork headaches.

been there with the sub chaos before jobber, man, that email black hole nearly drove me to quit tracking altogether.

how's the scheduling holding up with multiple subs now? been eyeing it but heard the mobile app glitches on bigger jobs.

Don't lock yourself into one platform, I got burned when they jacked up prices mid-year on my trim jobs.

Yeah, started with free trials but now I'm paying double what I expected for basic scheduling on cabinet installs. Stick to spreadsheets if you're small time.

jobber's drag and drop scheduling saved me a ton of hassle on my sub carpentry gigs, worth the $50 if you're tired of spreadsheet screwups.

yeah, spreadsheets turned into a total clusterfuck for me too until i bit the bullet on jobber, solid move.

Same here, been subbing out staircases and the software helps with routing but glitches eat your time.

Frustrated as hell, these apps promise the world but can't handle custom millwork changes without crashing. Corporate BS taking over our trade.

jobber's glitches are straight up BS, i'd rather stick to pen and paper than pay $50 a month for that crap-show.

jobber's saved me about 20 hours a month on paperwork once i figured out the glitches, especially for routing sub jobs like yours. tweak the notifications in settings to cut down on those digital hiccups, and it runs smoother. worth the $50 if youre subbing stairs alot.

those glitches are a total time suck, had one last week that wiped out my routing for three sub jobs and left me scrambling. jobbers supposed to save time but its just more headaches.

man, those jobber glitches have screwed me over more times than i can count, had a whole day's schedule vanish last month and i was driving in circles. feels like it's supposed to make life easier but ends up being a bigger headache than pen and paper. been there with the scrambling, sucks when youre already running behind. gonna stick it out or looking to switch?

stick with it for the routing wins, but run your updates during off-hours to dodge those glitches that eat half a day.

PE vultures are gobbling up software companies like Jobber, soon it'll be $100/month for basic features while we chase subs for deck builds.

yeah, jobbers gonna be $100/month soon, then i'll just go back to scribblin deck quotes on beer-stained napkins like the good ol days 😂

Felt that, my back's killing me from chasing paper quotes on frameless cabinets before I digitized.

Haha, I tried telling my sub he needed Jobber, he said 'I'll stick to my napkin sketches and beer.' Worked for 20 years.

Man, the disorganization before software was real, lost a whole bid on a porch railing job last summer because of bad notes.

lost a deck framing gig last year to scribbled napkins myself, that chaos is the worst part of solo work.

jobber's worth the $50 if you're doing sub work, sets up quick client portals for approvals and payments so you ditch the napkin bullshit and look pro.

hell yeah, ditch the napkin crap with jobber before another gc stiffs you on payment like those assholes did to me last summer. subs get screwed every time without proper portals, and that $50 is nothing compared to losing $2k chasing invoices. screw angi and their lead fees too, jobber keeps it all in house and professional.

man, those gc's stiffing subs is the WORST, been chasing a $1.5k invoice for weeks last month and its still radio silence. feels like were always the ones getting screwed while they pocket the profits. jobbers $50 a month is peanuts compared to that headache, worth every penny to keep things tight. same boat here, dont let em pull that crap on you again.
