So today in north jersey I was framing out this custom built-in bookcase for a client, using my Festool domino to join the face frames, when the damn thing jammed mid-cut because some sawdust got in there. Ended up slicing my thumb pretty good, had to slap a bandage on it and finish the install, charged the guy $850 for the whole thing even with the blood on the shavings. Me and the boys were cracking up about it later, but man, that coulda been bad. Reminds me of that funny post on r/woodworking about near misses with tools. I watch Essential Craftsman on YouTube sometimes for tips on avoiding this crap. Anyway, anyone else have a day in the life story that turned into a comedy of errors?
Never run a domino without clearing the dust port first, I saw a guy lose a finger tip to one of those last year in a shop accident.

Same shit here, brother, cut my hand open on a miter saw last week framing a deck.

Damn that sucks, these tools are no joke. I was pissed when my circular saw kicked back on me during a simple rip cut, almost took off half my leg. Now I double check every setup.
