Just finished a custom cabinet install using my Kreg pocket hole system, quoted them $1500 for the whole job including materials. Guy calls back saying he saw something online for $800 and wants to renegotiate the contract mid-way. TBH I almost lost it, told him sign or find another carpenter.

Never sign until you get a 50% deposit upfront, saved my ass from a walk-off job on kitchen cabinets once.

Haha, I once drew up a contract with a clown clause for extra fees if they waste my time.
