Trying to juggle multiple custom deck jobs using Jobber for scheduling, but the routing keeps glitching when I add in material runs for cedar 5/4 boards and Simpson Strong-Tie hardware. Lost a full day last week rerouting because it didn't account for traffic on a $8500 pergola add-on. Anyone got a better way to handle overlapping installs without this headache? Saw a Matt Risinger video where he talked about efficient workflows, might need to rethink my setup.
jobber's a total scam for custom work like decks, keeps screwing over guys like us with their glitchy routing while they rake in the subscription fees.

jobber's routing is a nightmare when you're juggling material runs and installs, been there and it pissed me off too. lost half a day last month chasing down a glitch that ignored my simpson strong-tie pickup in traffic. feels like the software aint built for custom work like decks and pergolas. we all deserve better than this crap.

jobber's a joke for anything beyond basic lawn crap, just use google calendar and a whiteboard for custom builds like decks. it'll save your sanity and probably a few grand in lost time.

jobber's routing is a total scam, man, it's like they design it to waste your whole damn day just so you pay for their premium crap. i've lost count of the times it glitched on me during a simple material run for 2x10 joists, and don't get me started on how it ignores traffic around here. these software companies are squeezing us small guys dry while we chase down simpson hardware ourselves. screw 'em, time to ditch this headache before it kills the biz.

Jobber sucks for anything beyond basic solo gigs, switch to Housecall Pro if you're doing real carpentry work like decks - they handle multi-day projects way better without the constant crashes.

housecall pro? never heard of it, whats the learning curve like for a guy used to just pencil and paper.

tried housecall pro for my deck jobs last season and it cut my scheduling headaches in half, especially with the crew tracking feature that jobber just cant keep up with.

same here man, scheduling decks in peak season turns into a crap show every time.

yep, especially when clients change their minds mid-build on the railing design.

don't rely on software alone for big jobs, always build in buffer time or you'll eat overruns like i did on a $6k wraparound porch.

jobber's like that ex who promised to keep things simple but ends up scheduling your whole life into a crap-show... i still blame it for my last deck turning into a two-week vacation from my paycheck.

screw the big software companies, they're just out to nickel and dime us carpenters with hidden fees while our schedules burn.

try integrating Google Calendar with Jobber, cuts the routing issues in half for my trim work, and it's free.

frustrated as hell with these apps too, wasted two hours yesterday rescheduling a mantel install because of a sync fail.
