Scheduling Custom Deck Builds with Jobber is Killing My Carpentry Biz

Trying to juggle multiple custom deck jobs using Jobber for scheduling, but the routing keeps glitching when I add in material runs for cedar 5/4 boards and Simpson Strong-Tie hardware. Lost a full day last week rerouting because it didn't account for traffic on a $8500 pergola add-on. Anyone got a better way to handle overlapping installs without this headache? Saw a Matt Risinger video where he talked about efficient workflows, might need to rethink my setup.
Jobber sucks for anything beyond basic solo gigs, switch to Housecall Pro if you're doing real carpentry work like decks - they handle multi-day projects way better without the constant crashes.

housecall pro? never heard of it, whats the learning curve like for a guy used to just pencil and paper.

yep, especially when clients change their minds mid-build on the railing design.

don't rely on software alone for big jobs, always build in buffer time or you'll eat overruns like i did on a $6k wraparound porch.

screw the big software companies, they're just out to nickel and dime us carpenters with hidden fees while our schedules burn.

try integrating Google Calendar with Jobber, cuts the routing issues in half for my trim work, and it's free.

frustrated as hell with these apps too, wasted two hours yesterday rescheduling a mantel install because of a sync fail.
