Man, subcontracting for these big cleaning outfits in north jersey has me pulling my hair out over invoicing. Last month I sent a detailed breakdown for a deep clean job using my Bissell Big Green machine on their commercial carpets, clocked 12 hours total, and they shorted me $450 on the $2,100 invoice. I'm using QuickBooks Online like everyone in the House Cleaning Business group recommends, but these companies keep dragging their feet on approvals. Saw a similar rant on r/CleaningTips about getting stiffed by subs, and it hit home. Anyone else dealing with this crap? TBH, might be time to go direct to clients if this keeps up. We're in zone 4 here so humidity makes every job a sweat fest, but that's no excuse for late payments.

god i hate when they nitpick every line item on the invoice like they know better than me how long it takes to steam clean a warehouse floor.
