I'm out in north jersey, been cleaning houses for 12 years now, and last week I had this client who nitpicked every damn thing. She wouldn't let me use my Dyson V11 on her hardwood because she thought it might scratch, even though I've never had an issue in zone 4 humidity around here. Charged her $450 for the deep clean session, but she complained about streaks on the windows that weren't even there. Guys in the Cleaning Business Owners facebook group say to just walk if they micromanage like that, but I need the repeat business. Saw a similar rant on r/CleaningTips about hooverers vs dyson debates. Sometimes you gotta stand your ground or you'll go crazy. Anyone got tips for handling these types without losing your cool?
