Out here in north Jersey, we get all kinds of crap as cleaners, but last night some lady called at 3am saying her cat puked on the Berber carpet and it was an 'emergency' because she had guests coming over. I told her my minimum for after-hours is $250, and she starts haggling like it's Black Friday at Home Depot. Me and my helper showed up anyway with the Bissell ProHeat and a ton of Resolve, spent two hours steaming that mess out, but damn if she didn't tip a dime. Saw a similar rant in the Cleaning Business Owners Facebook group last week, and NGL, it's making me rethink my emergency policy. TBH, I love the trade but these entitled clients make me wanna switch to commercial office gigs only. FML.

Cat puke emergencies are BS, charge double and tell em to wait till morning or call a vet.
