I've been grinding away at lead generation for my house cleaning side hustle, and out here in rural Ohio the big box stores aren't helping much with the foot traffic. Decided to try cold outreach last month, hitting up local Facebook groups and emailing real estate agents about post-move cleans. Landed two solid $200 gigs from agents who needed quick turnarounds before showings, but most responses are crickets or 'we have our guy.' Anyone got scripts or tweaks that actually convert better for residential deep cleans? Thinking of adding door hangers next, but worried about the backroads vibe. TBH, it's frustrating when Angi leads cost $50 a pop and half ghost you.

cold outreach in rural ohio is like yellin' at cows, they just stare back until you dangle that free oven scrub in front of em.

man, angi leads are a total crapshoot out here too, spent 50 bucks on one last week and the homeowner ghosted after i showed up with the crew.

man, those angi leads are a total scam half the time, ghosting after you drop $50 sucks. been there with cold emails to agents, most just ignore ya but keep tweaking the script til somethin sticks.

man, rural ohio cold calls are a crapshoot, i feel your pain on those angi leads eating your lunch for nothing. been there with my own side gig, knocking on doors in the sticks and getting that 'we got our guy' every time, it's deflating as hell. those facebook groups sound like a smart play, but yeah, crickets suck when you're hustling for every dollar. i tried emailing agents too, landed one $250 deep clean after mentioning their last showing pics looked dusty, but most just ghost. door hangers might work if you keep em simple, like 'post-move magic for $150', no fluff. angi's the worst though, $50 pops and half bail, makes you wanna scream. stick with the real estate angle, that's where the quick cash hides in these parts. what's your follow-up look like after the first no?
