Out here in Arizona the heat makes everything a dust magnet, and I walk into this hoarder house yesterday for a deep clean job. Me and the helper start in the living room, pulling out what looks like ancient newspapers, but nope, it's layers of dust so thick it forms shapes like some kinda modern art. We're sneezing our asses off, using the Bissell ProHeat to suck up what we can, but the client keeps adding more crap to the pile like we're archaeologists. Took us three hours just to uncover the carpet, and the whole place smelled like forgotten gym socks. Why do people let it get this bad before calling? SMH, fellow cleaners, you got stories worse than this?

had a similar crap-show last week where the old lady's 'vintage decor' turned out to be dust balls the size of softballs, took us four hours just to breathe without choking.

these hoarders are the WORST, man, they sit on their asses watching tv while dust bunnies multiply into some apocalypse and then act shocked when we charge extra for the biohazard cleanup. last week i had one pile up old pizza boxes so high it blocked the damn door, and the client blamed US for the smell. screw that, we need a flat rate for these nightmare jobs or im out.
