So I'm out doing a deep clean on this big empty house in the suburbs, you know, the kind where you gotta move all the furniture with a Hoover commercial vac to get behind everything. Client calls me up freaking out about 'ghosts' because she heard noises at night, turns out it was just a loose window rattling from the wind. I spent an extra hour sealing up those drafts with some blue painter's tape so she wouldn't call me back for nonsense. NGL, I was laughing my ass off when I realized, but man, these clients will blame anything on spirits instead of basic maintenance. PSA: always check the obvious stuff first, or you'll end up playing ghostbuster on the clock. Don't get me wrong, it was funny, but could've been a total waste if I didn't figure it out quick.

had a lady swear her house was haunted cuz her fridge was humming too loud, turns out it was just the compressor on its last legs. spent half the day 'exorcising' it with some basic cleaning and a new gasket, then charged her for premium ghost repellant. NGL, i almost pissed myself laughing when she thanked me for banishing the spirits 😂.

Haha, had a lady once swear her house was haunted by the previous owner's cat - turned out to be mice in the walls. Chased 'em out with some traps and she gave me a fat tip for 'exorcising' the place.
