Man, I was troubleshooting a flickering light circuit in this old ranch house and figured it was just a loose neutral, but nope, turned out to be an arc fault tripping intermittently. Swapped in some Eaton BR AFCI breakers for $1200 total bill, and everything stabilized - never skimping on quality breakers again after that nightmare.
