Had a client this week who insisted on skimping with those cheap 14/2 romex runs for their garage subpanel, even after I explained the NEC code 210.8 requirements for GFCI protection. I walked in, showed them the setup, and they still pushed back saying 'just make it work.' Told em straight up, we ain't cutting corners on safety, especially with AFCI breakers mandatory now. They called back the next day ready to pay up after thinking it over. NGL, it's satisfying when they come around, but damn it wears you down. Watched a Dustin Stelzer video on Electrician U that nailed how to handle these pushy types. Saw a similar rant in the Electricians Network FB group too.

Don't let em bully you into shortcuts, one bad install and you're looking at lawsuits or worse.
