I've been using Housecall Pro for my electrical work, but it's starting to feel clunky when I'm out there running 14/2 romex or swapping out AFCI breakers. Need something that lets me log inventory on the fly, like when I grab Milwaukee M18 batteries from the truck. Saw a thread on r/electricians where guys were raving about ServiceTitan for bigger ops, but is it overkill for a small crew? Also, someone in Electricians Network FB group mentioned QuickBooks integration issues with custom fields for wire types. Anyone switched recently and got tips? I wanna cut down on paper timesheets too. TBH, the scheduling part in Housecall is solid for panel upgrades, but invoicing lags.

god I hate how these apps nickel and dime you for basic features like adding line items for romex or breakers.

True, but worth it if you're doing a lot of subpanel installs.

if you're doing panel work, get something that auto-calcs for NEC compliance or you'll regret it.
