Man, I've been scratching my head on how to drum up more leads for those emergency panel upgrades and GFCI swaps we do all the time. Out here in the Phoenix area, slow season doesn't really exist but the competition from these big box Angi leads is BS, they're undercutting on basic 14/2 romex runs and now I'm chasing my tail on residential service work. I've tried optimizing my Google Business Profile and even posting some before-after pics of subpanel installs, but it's not converting like it used to. Someone in the Electricians Network Facebook group mentioned trying Thumbtack for commercial stuff, but I'm worried about the fees eating into my margins. Watched a Dustin Stelzer video on Electrician U about using TikTok for quick tips, might give that a shot. NGL, feels like everyone's stealing my bread and butter jobs. Anyone got solid lead gen tricks that actually work without breaking the bank? Saw a thread on r/electricians about referral programs, but how do you get them started without sounding desperate.
