Been using Housecall Pro for about 2 years now, mainly for quoting panel upgrades and EV charger installs, but their invoicing integration with QuickBooks is a total crap-show. I had a job last week wiring up a 240V subpanel in an old detached garage, sent the invoice through their system, and it duplicated the line items for the 14/2 Romex and breakers - customer got billed double and now they're pissed, threatening to leave a bad review on Angi. Out here in the Chicago area my whole career, I've seen software glitches before, but this one's costing me real time chasing payments and apologies. Switched to ServiceTitan for a trial last month after seeing a rant in Electricians Network Facebook group about similar issues, and so far it's handling my multi-location jobs better without the BS. Don't get locked into one platform without backups, guys - it'll bite you when you're already dealing with code inspections and supply shortages. I remember asking about this on r/electricians and got mixed advice, but yeah, test everything on small jobs first.
