Raising rates on EV charger installs? Just quoted $2500 for a Tesla Wall Connector job

With all the EV hype, I'm bumping my rates to $2500 flat for a full Tesla Wall Connector install, including the 50A circuit and permit. Saw a post on r/electricians where guys were getting screwed on lowball bids, so no more of that BS for me. Klein tools make the job easier, but customers gotta pay for the expertise.

Good call on the flat rate, keeps things simple and covers your ass on callbacks.

$2500? Hell, I charge that just to show up with my coffee in hand. 😂

Tried raising mine last month and lost two jobs to some hack on Thumbtack. Inspectors are on our side though, NEC 625.40 saved my bacon on the last one.
