Man, been busting my ass in north jersey trying to break into commercial electrical work, but these property managers keep going with the big boys. I optimized my google business profile last month, added pics of my recent square d panel upgrades and all, but still crickets on the big gigs. Just quoted a $15k job for rewiring a strip mall's lighting but they ghosted me after promising a callback. AFAIK it's all about networking here with the unions and stuff, saw a thread on r/electricians where guys said cold calls don't work worth shit. Someone in Electricians Network facebook group mentioned door knocking offices pays off, but im skeptical. Anyone got tips for a solo sparky like me to get that first commercial foot in the door?
