North Jersey here, zone 5 winters make every job a crapshoot with frozen ground and overtime. I'm quoting a 200A service upgrade for a buddy's flip in Paterson using Jobber, and it spits out $4500 for materials alone with Klein clamps and Southwire cable, but then the client haggles like it's my first rodeo. Saw a rant in Electricians Network FB group about how these apps undervalue the real grunt work on panel swaps. AFAIK, everyone's getting pinched on labor estimates now, especially when you factor in the NEC 230.40 rules for service conductors. SMH, I just walked a $6500 job because the estimate didn't cover the unexpected trenching. Who's got a better system that actually respects the trade?
