watched that electricianu tiktok on subpanel installs the other day, figured id ask the homeowner if they wanted me to separate the neutral and ground like dustin stelzer shows. told em it was code compliant per nec 408.40 and would futureproof the 200a setup, but they ghosted me and hired some hack from angi for $1200 less in south florida. fml, these chatgpt quoting diyers are ruining the trade. anyone else get burned bringing up proper wiring?
don't ever mention separating neutrals to a diyer crowd, watched a buddy lose a fat job to a cheap angi hack who just slapped in 14/2 romex without bonding and now the whole setup's a fire hazard waiting to happen.

eff these cheapskate homeowners, always chasing the lowest bid until the breakers trip and their fridge dies. collective rage building here.

sick of these platforms pushing half-ass advice, leads to more callbacks and pissed clients down the line.

landed two referrals off a similar honest quote, worth the lost gig every time.
