Told a customer I'd need a full Eaton BR panel swap to meet NEC 110.14 for those aluminum branch circuits, and they balked at the $4500 price tag. NGL, with material costs up 20% this year, I can't keep eating these anymore. Funny thing is, they tried to haggle like it was a flea market.

don't budge on that $4500, i did once and the customer ghosted me after i started, left me holding the bag on materials. hagglers like that usually find a way to screw you over later anyway.

fuckin homeowners think we're runnin a charity with these panel swaps, always hagglin like $4500 is some kinda scam when materials are thru the roof.

don't drop that price to close the deal, had a guy undercut me once with a $2800 eaton swap and ended up with a fire call from shoddy work that cost the homeowner double to fix.

man, haggling homeowners on panel swaps are the worst, feels like every job turns into a flea market showdown with these rising material prices.

fuckin homeowners always think we're runnin a charity, hagglin over a $4500 panel when they wouldnt know a NEC code from a hole in the ground.

4500 is a steal for an eaton br swap, these cheapskates act like we're ripping em off when half the time they got aluminum wiring thats one short from a fire. tell em to shop around and watch em come crawling back when the next guy quotes 6k.
