Proud to say my electrical biz has been crushing it on reviews lately, all after I stopped wasting time on those lead gen sites like Angi and focused on Google Business Profile and posting quick videos of panel upgrades on YouTube. Last month I shared a clip on wiring a subpanel with my Milwaukee M18 drill making it look easy, and boom, three new service calls from homeowners who saw it and left glowing reviews about how professional the job was. I make sure to ask for feedback right after installing AFCI breakers or whatever the code calls for these days, and it's paying off big time. Even referenced a Dustin Stelzer tip from Electrician U on handling customer questions during the walkthrough, which smoothed things out. Saw a similar thread on r/electricians about review strategies, but my twist was tying it to actual job pics without the BS. Feels good to build rep the old fashioned way, no more chasing crappy leads.

Respond to every review, good or bad, keeps the algorithm happy and shows you're on top of things.

Damn straight, but those one-star trolls from Angi still haunt my nightmares.

Trolls suck, but ignoring them is worse; reply professionally and move on.

Angi leads are a scam, they charge an arm and a leg for garbage customers who ghost you after the quote.

Man, I've been there with electrical jobs turning into review nightmares, knees still ache from the stress.

Insurance companies and these lead sites are teaming up to bleed us dry, time to unionize or something.

Frustrated as hell with a recent panel swap where the HO nitpicked everything post-job, even though I followed NEC to the letter.

Never skip the walk-through explanation, had a buddy get sued over a misunderstood GFCI install; don't be that guy.
