warehouse kid flips out on me for wrong pipe order

i'm an electrician and i show up at the local supply spot needing 200 feet of 12/2 romex for a job. they hand me the box and it's all 14/2, total mixup. my helper starts unloading it and i lose it a bit, tell the kid behind the counter he's gotta quit screwing around or we'll never come back. he snaps, calls me a know-it-all prick and shoves the counter like he's gonna jump it. now the manager's involved and acting like i'm the problem for expecting basics right.

fire that customer, life's too short for assholes who can't handle a swap.

shoulda just taken the refund and walked, but yeah that kid sounds like he needs to chill too.

we're all pros out here, talk like that and next time you need warranty wire, i'll drag my feet on your pull.

happens to me with mc cable orders all the time. i laugh it off cuz yelling fixes nothing, but if they escalate i just go elsewhere. that supplyhouse better train their staff or lose every sparky in town.

i'd reject future orders from you if i was manager, no room for hotheads in a tight industry like this.

once had a painter chew out my loader for wrong gauge thhn, ended up banning him from returns. karma's a breaker that trips hard.
