Out here in Phoenix, zone 2 heat makes everything warp if you're not careful, and this Karen calls me yesterday demanding a redo on her 800 sq ft Coretec LVP install I did last month for $4500 because the planks ain't 'random' enough. I told her straight up, you picked the pattern and we followed it to the T, but she's pitching a fit saying it looks like a checkerboard and wants it fixed for $500. NGL, after seeing that post on r/Flooring about the guy scribing the undercut, I'm thinking of just walking unless she pays full T&M. Guy in the Flooring Contractors Network group said charge her double for the hassle, and TBH I'm leaning that way. Shoulda got it in writing better. These AZ homeowners think installers are magicians.
