I'm so pissed at how these office managers ghost you after you spend hours putting together a proposal for their lobby LVP install. Last week I targeted a strip mall manager with an email about our CoreTec vinyl plank options, thinking we'd nail a repeat commercial gig, but crickets. It's like they don't get that we're the pros who can handle the high-traffic wear without callbacks. Someone in the Flooring Contractors Network group was ranting about the same BS, saying cold calls to property managers just waste your time. Watched a Tommy Mello video on upping your outreach game, but damn if it doesn't feel futile when you're chasing big box stores or office buildings. Anyone got a script that actually lands meetings without the runaround? FML, this is killing my pipeline.

Try attaching a quick mockup render of their space with your Pergo flooring in it, turns heads every time.

pergo's click-lock is solid for demos too, no glue mess.

Don't bother with email, hit up linkedin and reference their recent reno posts to make it personal.

Walk in with samples, ask for the facilities guy directly, no appointment needed.

These commercial pricks act like their linoleum hellscape is gold, won't pay for quality.

What kinda follow-up do you guys use after the initial pitch?

Big box chains are the worst, they got in-house guys who botch installs anyway.

Target real estate investment groups instead, they flip properties fast and need quick floors.

yeah, investors bite on speed installs like glue-down vinyl.

Hit up co-working spaces, they're always expanding and need modular flooring.

Referral from one commercial client opened doors to five more, skip the cold stuff.
