Angi and HomeAdvisor are screwing over flooring installers with fake reviews

I'm so pissed at these lead gen sites, they let anyone post reviews without even verifying if it's a real customer. Last month I did a full LVP install using Coretec planks and the guy left a 1-star because his dog scratched it after a week, like what the hell? Now my rating is tanked and I'm losing jobs left and right. Saw a similar rant in the Flooring Contractors Network group where a guy said he got hit with bogus reviews from competitors. Even responded to the bad one explaining the dog thing but they won't remove it. These platforms are just a crap-show for us small flooring guys trying to build a rep. Anyone else dealing with this BS?

fake reviews are the worst, had a customer 'review' me for not installing invisible carpet lol
