Rage: Customer balked at $4500 for Mohawk LVP install and wanted cheap crap instead

Just quoted a full kitchen refloor with Mohawk SolidTech LVP at $4500 all in, materials and labor for 250 sq ft. Guy's like 'that's too much, can you do basic Home Depot vinyl for half?' Now the cheap stuff's gonna warp on him in a year and he'll be calling me back pissed. SMH, these homeowners never learn.

What brand of cheap vinyl did he push for?

Screw those types, they always come crawling back after the big box store junk fails.

Stick to your guns on Mohawk, it's worth the premium over the knockoffs.

I'd walk away from that job, life's too short for penny pinchers.

Try upselling the warranty on Mohawk, sometimes that seals it.
