Man, today was one of those days where I just wanted to chuck my Malco snips into the nearest puddle. Spent the morning ripping up old carpet in a ranch house out in the Pacific Northwest, so yeah the rain is real and everything's gotta dry out before I can even think about acclimating the Coretec planks. Got to the install around noon, but the subfloor was a mess with some warped spots from the damp, had to level it with a 20 lb bag of Henry 547. By 4pm my knees are killing me from crawling around on that concrete, and the homeowner's dog kept peeing on the unused boxes. I know we're all in this grind, but damn, flooring ain't for the weak. Anyone else have a day like this lately? Saw a similar rant in the Flooring Professionals group the other day.
