Pissed about this $1200 opener install in Jersey turning into a 3k nightmare

Working out of north Jersey, I just hit a 'milestone' that makes me wanna quit: quoted a simple Chamberlain opener swap for $1200, but the damn torsion springs were shot and the tracks were bent to hell from some idiot DIY.
