How do you guys handle bookkeeping for garage door service contracts?

I've been running my own garage door install and repair biz for about 8 years now, mostly residential stuff like LiftMaster openers and broken torsion springs. Lately, I'm getting more contracts for commercial roll-up doors and maintenance agreements, but my current setup with QuickBooks is a mess when it comes to tracking recurring service calls and parts inventory. I track everything in spreadsheets for the spring replacements and opener installs, but it's eating up too much time that I could be out on jobs. Anyone using something better integrated for invoicing those long-term agreements? I need something that handles the scheduling for quarterly inspections without me having to double-enter data.

switch to service titan for those maintenance contracts, it syncs invoicing and scheduling automatically so you dont waste time double-entering for quarterly inspections.

switched to housecall pro for my service contracts and it syncs invoicing with scheduling like a dream, no more double entry on those quarterly checks. quickbooks is fine for basics but sucks for recurring garage door maintenance. tracks parts inventory too, so i can see exactly what i've got for liftmaster replacements without digging through spreadsheets.

quickbooks is a total scam the way it forces you to double enter everything for recurring gigs, just like angi leads screwing us with their BS fees.

quickbooks is a total nightmare for recurring contracts, always double-entering crap and losing track of inventory just to keep the damn thing from crashing. it's like the software was designed to screw over small biz owners like us, forcing us to waste hours instead of fixing doors. switched to housecall pro last year and it finally integrates scheduling without the bs headaches. but man, these accounting tools are just another way the system's rigged against trades guys trying to make a living.

Fuck QuickBooks, it's a nightmare for anything beyond basic solo ops. Switched to Jobber last year and it finally lets me automate the billing for those maintenance deals without pulling my hair out.
