Jersey contractor, been doing this 20 years, and I just had this nightmare with a garage door client who wouldn't shut up about every little thing. Installed a new LiftMaster belt drive opener last week, everything checks out perfect, but now she's calling saying the remote's 'laggy' and wants me back out for free because 'it wasn't like this before.' Explained the learning curve with the myQ app setup, but nope, she thinks I'm ripping her off. Out here in Jersey, these entitled homeowners are getting worse, always nitpicking after the job's done. I'm about to start charging $100 for callbacks on installs like this. Anyone else dealing with this crap?

next time just tell her the lag is the opener's way of practicing social distancing from her complaints 😂

those entitled jersey homeowners are the WORST, always acting like their $1200 install entitles them to free slave labor for every damn glitch they cause themselves.

man, i feel you on those entitled homeowners nitpicking every damn thing after the install. been there a dozen times with myQ setups, and it's always the same crap.

nailed my first liftmaster install solo last month and the client loved it, no bs callbacks yet... makes me proud to stick it out as an apprentice.

man i hate those types, had one last month who complained the door 'clicked too loud' after i fixed their bent track. ended up eating two hours just to appease her, total BS.

sounds like my last job, but i told the guy if he wants perfection he can install it himself. he backed off quick, now he's my best referral lol.

ugh, totally get it. in my area, it's the same story every time with opener upgrades. they pay up front but act like you owe them your soul after.
