I'm in north Jersey, zone 5 winters make everything a mess for general fixes, and I've been dumping $5k into Angi leads this year thinking it'd boost my handyman gigs like deck repairs and drywall patches. Turns out most are tire-kickers or lowballers who ghost after I quote using my Milwaukee tools. Saw a rant in The Contractor Fight FB group about this BS, same story everywhere. Tommy Mello on YouTube warned about these lead gen traps, but damn if it doesn't sting when you're solo and need the work. Anyone else getting burned?
