Subcontracting handyman jobs is killing my schedule - fight me

I've been a handyman for 8 years, doing everything from deck repairs to drywall patches, and subcontracting out the specialized stuff like electrical wiring or HVAC tweaks has turned my calendar into a total crap-show. Last week I had to juggle three jobs in the Phoenix area where slow season doesn't really exist, and one sub flaked on installing those Andersen windows I quoted for. I use Housecall Pro for scheduling but it doesn't account for subs showing up late with the wrong gauge of 14/2 romex or whatever. TBH, I'd rather just turn down jobs that need subs and stick to what I can handle myself with my Milwaukee M18 kit. Saw a similar rant in Handyman Nation group about this, and someone mentioned watching Tommy Mello's video on scaling without subs. Anyone else dealing with this BS?

Stop subcontracting altogether, handle it in-house like a real pro.

Never trust a sub with your schedule, they'll burn you every time.

Switch to Jobber, it has better sub tracking than Housecall.
