Man, I've been trying to break into commercial handyman work for office cleanups and minor fixes, but these chains like Home Depot's pro services are undercutting me every time. I'm up in Minnesota and the winters mean a lot of indoor maintenance calls, but property managers keep going with the big guys for their 'guaranteed' response times. I do solid work with my DeWalt tools and can handle everything from drywall patches to fixture installs, but marketing to these commercial clients feels like screaming into the void. Saw a post on r/handyman about using Google Business Profile, so I set that up last month, but still crickets on the big accounts. Anyone else dealing with this crap? Feels like I'm stuck doing residential forever. Guy in Handyman Nation group mentioned cold emailing facilities directors, might give that a shot.
