Just got hit with another $150 late fee from ServiceTitan because a client dragged their feet on paying for that deck repair job. We're out here swinging hammers and fixing leaky faucets all day, and this software is nickel-and-diming us on top of everything. Who's got a better collections tool that doesn't screw small handyman ops like this?
H

same here, man. feels like they're the ones collecting from us.
P

exactly, it's like paying to chase your own money.

ServiceTitan is the devil for small guys. Switched to Jobber and never looked back.

Jobber's collections are way better, no BS fees.
F

yeah but does Jobber handle the punch list tracking like ST?
D
DustBunnySlayer3⚒️ Journeyman1mo
54
it does, and cheaper too.
P

pfft, all these apps suck when clients ghost you.
T

dump ST now. try Housecall Pro, their collections module actually works without the gouging.

use AccuLynx if you're doing any exterior work, better tracking.
B
BeamBoss4⚒️ Journeyman1mo

accuLynx is solid for roofing jobs, tracks everything from leads to punch lists without the nickel and diming. i switched from service titan last year after they hit me with a surprise 2% late fee on a slow-paying client, cost me an extra 150 bucks on a 7k invoice. their mobile app is clunky too, always lagging when you're on a windy roof trying to log materials. with accuLynx, integration with quickbooks is seamless, no more double entry bs. set up custom workflows for exterior bids, and it auto-sends follow-ups if payments drag. pricing starts around 200 a month for small crews, way better value than titan's enterprise gouge. been using it for handyman side gigs too, keeps the books clean without the headaches. if you're doing decks or siding, their photo upload feature saves tons of time on reports.
