Been running my handyman side gig for a couple years now, mostly doing fence fixes, deck repairs, and the occasional drywall patch. Decided to start posting before-and-after pics of a backyard deck I rebuilt using cedar boards and some Simpson Strong-Tie hardware, and man, the reviews poured in after that. Folks started tagging me in their own home projects, and I got three new jobs just from comments on those posts. Saw a thread on r/handyman where someone mentioned the same thing with their tool setups, so I figured why not show off my DeWalt cordless kit in action. It's all about that visual proof, shows clients I know my way around a jobsite without the BS. Even joined Handyman Nation on Facebook, and sharing there helped too. Feels good to see the rep building organically instead of chasing leads.
