Man, handyman liability insurance is killing my retirement plans

I've been doing handyman work for 15 years now, fixing everything from leaky faucets to installing those damn Nest thermostats, and I'm starting to think about retirement but this liability crap is a nightmare. Every time I hang a shelf or patch a wall, I worry some homeowner will sue over a crooked picture frame or something stupid. Saw a thread on r/handyman where a guy got hit with a claim just for using the wrong type of toggle bolt on drywall. And in the Handyman Nation Facebook group, everyone's complaining about premiums going up because of dumb slip-and-fall lawsuits. I use Milwaukee tools and always double-check my work, but it feels like nothing's ever enough to protect you. Retirement savings? Ha, more like liability draining my 401k. Anyone else feeling this way as a solo handyman?
