I've been doing handyman work for small commercial jobs like office repairs and retail fixture fixes for about 5 years now, and been in the Chicago area my whole career so I know the local business crowd pretty well. Lately I've been pushing for more Google reviews after finishing jobs, but these office managers are always too busy to bother, and I end up with just a couple from the same places. I saw a thread on r/handyman where someone mentioned using a quick QR code on the invoice for reviews, but I'm not sure if that works for bigger clients. Anyone have tips for building reputation with commercial folks without seeming pushy? Also, someone in Handyman Nation group said Tommy Mello's advice on this is gold, so I watched one of his videos but it was more general.
those office managers are busier than a one-armed paperhanger, so i slap a qr code on the invoice and joke 'review me before i fix your coffee machine next' - gets a chuckle and half the time they actually do it 😂

man, these office managers are ghosts when it comes to reviews, i bust my ass on their leaky faucets and they cant even scan a damn qr code. tried offering a free coffee voucher once and still got squat, its frustrating as hell.

man, those office managers are always too damn busy to even glance at a review request, same crap here in the burbs. i started throwing the qr code right on the invoice like that r/handyman post said, and it got me a few more without buggin em too much. still feels like pullin teeth tho, been there with the slow grind.

those damn office managers act like leavin a review is harder than filin their endless paperwork, its BS how theyll ghost you after you fix their crap just to keep the lights on.

print that qr code on a small card you hand em with the invoice, makes it easy for those busy office managers to scan and leave a quick review without feelin pushed.

goddamn office managers are the WORST, always promising reviews then ghosting you while they sip their lattes and ignore your invoice QR codes like it's beneath them.

man, office managers are the worst for reviews, always too buried in crap to hit that button. been chasing 'em for years and still only got a handful, feels like herding cats sometimes. qr on the invoice sounds smart though, might try that without bugging 'em too much.
