Customer insisted on Carrier unit but freaked at the $4500 install price

Had this lady call up wanting a new Carrier Infinity system because her neighbor got one and it's 'the best.' I quote her $4500 for the full install including the 3-ton unit and all the duct mods, and she loses her shit saying it's highway robbery. NGL, I almost laughed when she asked if I could just slap it in for $1500 like some YouTube hack.

These cheapskate homeowners are the worst, always thinking HVAC is a DIY gig.
