man today was a crap-show from start to finish, crawled into this tight attic to check a Trane XR unit that was cycling weird, and the flex duct was sagging bad, damn near collapsed on me while i was pulling the access panel. had to shim it up with some scrap 2x4s just to keep it from dumping insulation everywhere, superheat was way off too so i charged it with r-410a and adjusted the txv. thought i was gonna get pinched in there, heart was pounding. reminded me of that post on r/hvacadvice about the frozen unit, but this was all duct work bs. someone in hvac techs network mentioned using uponor for better flex, might have to look into that. FML, just glad i didnt end up in the er.

damn that sounds rough, had a similar duct collapse scare last week, kept my cool though.
