been running a two-van fleet for my hvac service and im about ready to torch them both. last week one of the ford transits lost a belt on the way to a trane xr install, stranding my tech in the middle of rush hour traffic with a full load of r-410a cylinders. the other ones ac compressor craps out every summer, which is hilarious since were supposed to be fixing those for customers. i saw a post on r/hvac about jobber for scheduling but it aint helping when the vehicles are unreliable. anyone got tips on keeping these beasts running without constant shop visits? the guys in hvac techs network group keep raving about ford econolines but im skeptical after this bs. also watched a bryan orr video on hvac school podcast about efficiency but it didnt cover van maintenance.
