I'm in north Jersey, zone 5, where these Carrier Infinity installs should be netting me $12k easy but Angi is screwing us all with their 40% cuts on leads that half the time go to the cheapest hack. Last week I paid $200 for a lead on a Trane XR replacement, showed up and the homeowner had already called three other guys from the same damn site. We've been bitching about this in the HVAC Techs Network Facebook group for months, and now with winter coming, I can't afford to keep hemorrhaging cash on these garbage leads. Screw the platforms that don't care about quality work like brazing R-410a lines right. Who's dropping Angi and how are you getting real reviews without them?
