Up here in north jersey, zone 5 winters got us slammed with service calls on old Trane units, and I'm paying $2k a month just for ServiceTitan to schedule 'em. Me and the boys was barely breaking even last quarter after the fees, and the damn thing glitches half the time on routing. Saw a rant in HVAC Techs Network about switching to Jobber, but I'm stuck in the contract. NGL, it's got me thinking of ditching software altogether and going back to google calendar. Anyone dealt with this crap? FML.

ServiceTitan is a money pit, straight up screwed my margins on mini-split installs.

Don't sign up for those long contracts, bro. I got out of FieldEdge after a year and saved $1.5k monthly.

FieldEdge any better for dispatch? I heard it's glitchy too.

Better than Titan for small shops, yeah. Less bloat.

Same here in the midwest, feels like the software owns me now.

Try Housecall Pro, it's $150/mo and handles HVAC scheduling without the BS.

Titan's overrated, pushed a client to it and they bailed after three months.

These platforms are all the same scam, charging for features we don't need on residential calls.
