google business profile killing my hvac referral program

I've been running a referral program for my HVAC installs for about 2 years now, giving folks $100 Home Depot cards for every ductless mini-split lead that turns into a job. Out here in Arizona the heat is brutal so I figured word of mouth on Carrier units would spread fast, but Google Business Profile is screwing me over. Every time I get a 5-star review up, some spammer posts fake 1-stars about 'no call backs' and tanks my ranking. Saw a similar rant in the HVAC Techs Network group, and yeah, it's frustrating as hell when legit referrals from Trane maintenance customers get buried. Tried claiming it all and responding, but Google's algorithm doesn't give a damn. Anyone cracked this? NGL, I'm about ready to ditch the profile altogether.

Google's review system is a JOKE, nothing but bots and salty ex-customers ruining good techs.

set up alerts for new reviews and respond within 24 hours every time.
