I've been grinding on my Google Business Profile for the past year, optimizing it for residential AC repairs and installs, but out here in the Phoenix area, slow season doesn't really exist and yet I'm getting buried under fake reviews from competitors. Last month I lost a $4500 Trane unit quote because some asshole left a 1-star saying I never showed up - I was there at 2pm sharp. We're dealing with constant 110+ temps, and folks need their R-410a systems fixed NOW, but Google's algorithm is punishing me for crap I can't control. Tried claiming more photos of my Carrier installs, but it ain't helping. Anyone else pissed off with this? Saw a thread on r/HVAC about fighting back with review responses, but I'm at my wit's end.

goddamn google's playing favorites with those fake reviews, i've lost three solid ac jobs in the last two months because some competitor's bot left a starless rant about my 'no-show' on a sunday callout that i nailed at 8am sharp. out here in zone 2, with the heat cranking up to 115, folks are desperate for their r-410a top-offs, but the algorithm treats us like we're the problem. i tried firing back with detailed responses, quoting the job log and even attaching timestamps from my service fusion app, but it barely budged the rating. it's bullshit how one asshole can tank your whole profile while the big chains buy their way to five stars. pissed me off enough to start pushing nextdoor harder, at least there the leads feel real. you tried reporting those phonies through their support portal yet?

respond to every fake review with a detailed explanation and screenshots of your scheduling system - it bumps your algo score quick. i've seen it turn a 3.8 star profile back to 4.5 in under a month for my buddy's ac shop. also flag 'em to google support right away, they're better about it in high-demand spots like phoenix.

Set up alerts for new reviews and respond within the hour, mention your NATE cert and a quick fix like checking superheat on their unit. Helped my rating jump 0.5 stars fast.
