Man, we're in Texas so these summer installs have me running two vans non-stop, but last week one of my Ford Transit cargo vans blew a gasket on the way to a Trane XR replacement job and it threw my whole schedule into chaos. Invoicing that day was a crapshoot - had to scramble with paper tickets for three emergency calls while the techs waited on roadside assistance. Jobber app glitched out too, wouldn't sync the hours properly, so I ate two hours of downtime billing. Been thinking of switching to Housecall Pro for the fleet tracking features, anyone else deal with this BS? Feels like every breakdown costs me $500 in lost time.

what fleet tracking features in housecall pro are you eyeing to avoid that paper ticket mess next time?

ford transits are like that one buddy who always flakes on the job site, leaving you high and dry with a blown gasket and a fistful of paper invoices. i switched to housecall pro last year and it's saved my ass on fleet tracking, though now i just get real-time alerts to my phone while i'm stuck in traffic. jobber's glitches had me invoicing in the dark one too many times, felt like playing roulette with my paycheck. at least the roadside stories make for good bar tales later. 😂

your ford transit blew a gasket? sounds like it joined a greta van fleet tribute band for the breakdown tour. had my own van crap out mid-rush hour last month, invoicing turned into a bad comedy sketch with techs texting me pics of the mess while im stuck in traffic. jobbers glitchy ass almost made me switch to carrier pigeons, but housecall pro did save my bacon on a similar clusterf*ck. next time, blame it on the heatwave and charge extra for the drama.

dont rely on jobber for fleet stuff like that, itll screw you worse during breakdowns - i saw my bosses whole week get wiped out last month cuz the app couldnt track the tow and we lost track of $600 in parts billing. stick to paper backups til you switch or youll be eating more downtime.

same shit here in the heat, lost a full day last month when my transit crapped out mid-route and the invoicing app just sat there mocking me.

switched to housecall pro last year and their fleet tracking saved my ass during a similar breakdown - real time gps showed me exactly where the van was stuck. syncs invoices way better than jobber too, no more lost hours.
