Been running my solo HVAC gig out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 8 years now, and I'm finally bumping my service call rate to $150 just to keep up with these damn material costs. Problem is, my Google Business Profile keeps getting buried under all these big chain outfits, even though I just fixed a Carrier Infinity system last week without any BS upsells. How the hell do you guys optimize that thing to actually show up for local searches without paying through the nose?

man, i feel that pain in the dfw area too, google buries us solo guys under those chain ads no matter how good our work is.

man, same crap here in the trades, google buries us under those chain giants no matter what, feels like were always fighting an uphill battle just to get a damn call.

screw googles algorithm, it's rigged for the big boys who pay the fees anyway. forget optimizing that crap, just slap up some yard signs and hit nextdoor hard - i've been outranking chains that way without dropping a dime on ads. chains can shove their upsells, locals know a real tech when they see one.

man, google's algo is straight up rigged for those big chain assholes, been fighting the same bs in the dfw area for years now. i raised my rates to $140 last month and my profile tanked even after adding a bunch of service pics and reviews. sucks that us solo guys gotta hustle twice as hard just to get a damn call.

google's screwing all us small guys with their algorithm bullshit, burying legit techs under those chain store monsters. dfw should be our turf, not some corporate cash grab.

claim and verify your GBP first if you havent, then start posting weekly updates like job pics or quick tips to push it up in the local pack. consistency beats the big chains every time without shelling out for ads.

screw optimizing GBP, just buy some fake 5-star reviews from those shady sites everyone whispers about and watch your ranking shoot up overnight, chains do it all the time.

screw optimizing google's bs algorithm, i just started paying for those targeted fb ads to dallas folks and it's pulling in way more legit calls than that buried profile ever did.

google's algorithm is straight up rigged to favor those corporate chain assholes who can afford to game the system. we small guys get buried no matter how good our work is, it's bullshit.

google's got it out for us little guys, i keep posting sweaty pics of my trane installs and still end up behind some franchise that doesnt know r-410a from r-22 lol

google's screwing all us small guys, man, i been fightin that BS for years and my profile still hides behind those chain store monsters even when im the one fixin the real problems. last month i dropped $200 on ads just to get a single call that turned out to be some yahoo thinkin his thermostat was haunted. its like they want us to pay up or vanish, and the algorithms dont give a damn about your actual work on that carrier infinity or whatever. i tried stuffin keywords like dfw hvac repair and emergency ac service into every field, but it barely moved the needle. shoulda started a side hustle with those facebook groups instead of trustin big g. pissed me off so bad i almost quit checkin reviews altogether. you tried hittin up local seo forums for dfw-specific tricks?

post once a week on your google business profile with quick job pics or tips like that carrier fix, it'll boost your local ranking without dropping cash on ads.

Don't sink money into Google ads yet - I've seen techs get shadowbanned for spamming reviews, and it tanks your profile for months while competitors eat your leads.
