Been tweaking my Google Business Profile for months now, but I'm barely seeing any leads for AC tune-ups or heat pump installs. I optimized it with keywords like R-410A recharge and added photos of my Carrier Infinity setups, but it's like crickets out there. Someone in r/HVAC mentioned claiming the profile helps, but I'm still buried under big box stores. Anyone got tips on getting those local searches to pop for emergency furnace repairs? I even verified the address and hours, yet nada. Frustrating when I'm qualified for EPA 608 cert work and all.

man, i feel you on that google grind, been pouring time into my profile for nada in return while those chain stores steal all the emergency calls. it's bullshit how the algorithm buries us solo guys no matter how many epa cert badges or carrier pics we slap up. keep at it though, sometimes a fresh review or two shakes things loose.

google's algorithm is total BS, always favoring those damn big box chains over us small shops no matter how many keywords we cram in.

google loves feeding calls to the big boys like carrier's installers, same crap in my area. switched to thumbtack last month and got 4 leads from it, might be worth a shot. how many calls you actually getting a week now?

google's probably too busy showing carrier infinity installs for the guy who paid for ads while you're stuck with free tweaks like a chump. try bribing it with some fake 5-star reviews from your mom... worked for me until the feds called.

man, i feel you on that google business profile crap, been pourin hours into mine and still gettin zilch for calls. big box stores dominate everything, its like they own the map. hang in there, somethin's gotta give eventually.

GBP is a joke for small guys like us; it's all rigged for those big chains paying Google under the table to bury the independents.

add a service area radius of 20-30 miles to your GBP if you havent already, that pulls in more local searches without getting buried by the big chains. make sure your photos show real installs like those Carrier units with timestamps in the captions to build trust. respond to every review quick, even the bad ones, cuz google boosts active profiles. also link it to your site with matching services listed, like emergency furnace stuff, to juice the SEO.

google's like that one customer who promises a big job but ghosts you after you show up with the van loaded. try spamming more pics of sweaty emergency calls, might trick the algorithm into thinking you're the hero they need.

Try posting regular updates with job pics and service areas to boost the algorithm, worked for my leads after a couple weeks.
