Proud of my insurance setup after years of landscaping risks in Minnesota

Finally got my commercial liability insurance squared away after that close call last year with a retaining wall job that nearly collapsed during a storm. I'm up in Minnesota and the harsh winters make everything trickier, so I went with a policy from Progressive that covers up to $2 million for property damage and worker's comp for my three-man crew. Been in the game 15 years, started solo with just a John Deere ZTR mower, and now this setup gives me peace of mind pushing for bigger installs like patios and irrigation systems. Saw a discussion in the Landscaping Professionals Facebook group about low-maintenance ideas for Minnesota yards, and it got me thinking how good coverage lets me recommend stuff like native perennials without worrying about lawsuits if a client trips over a root. Anyone else feel like insurance is the real backbone of scaling up?
screw progressive, they denied my claim on a tree removal gone wrong because of some fine print BS. go with state farm if you want real coverage.

state farm? laughed my ass off, they jacked my rates 30% after one minor fender bender with the truck. stick to independents.

watch out for exclusions on weather damage, had a client sue over sod that froze and died post-install.

these insurance companies are robbing us blind while we bust our asses on mulch and edging jobs. time to union up or something.

yeah man, my rates just jumped 40% last month and theyre claimin its cuz of 'increased risk' in minnesota winters, what a load of crap.

Insurance companies are straight up screwing us trades guys with these BS hikes, especially in minnesota where one bad winter storm jacks up the whole damn risk profile. My premium shot up 35% last year for the same coverage, and they blame it on 'climate whatever' while pocketing the cash. We gotta band together and shop around or switch carriers before they bleed us dry.
