Job management software that's actually worth a damn for landscaping crews?

Been running a small landscaping outfit for 15 years, mostly mulching jobs and tree trimming in the greater Atlanta area, and I'm so pissed at these job management apps that promise the world but can't handle the basics. We tried Housecall Pro last season for scheduling our Stihl brush cutters and Toro mowers across multiple sites, but it glitches out every time we log irrigation installs with drip lines from Rain Bird. Half the time, the routing ignores traffic jams from hauling sod pallets, and forget about tracking fuel for the Ford F-550s. Saw a thread on r/landscaping where guys were raging about the same crap, and someone in Lawn Care Business Owners FB group mentioned Aspire, but is it any better for tracking material costs on hardscape projects? I'm down $2k this quarter just from misrouted crews showing up late to sod installs. Anyone got a setup that doesn't suck the life out of your day?

Man, I feel your pain on those routing fails, lost a whole afternoon of edging once because the app sent us in circles.

Aspire is overhyped for landscaping, stick to something simple like Jobber if you're not doing massive commercial lots.

Nah, Jobber's mobile app crashes on iOS during peak season uploads of site photos.

Switched to Jobber mid-summer and it's been solid for my mulch deliveries, no crashes here.

Try LMN, it's built for landscape pros and handles crew sheets way better than Housecall.

Housecall Pro is a joke for anything over 5 guys, we ditched it after one season of lost invoices on retaining wall builds.

Same here in the heat, apps like that just add to the headache when you're already sweating through aerations.

Exactly, nothing beats a good old whiteboard for quick crew assignments on fence installs.

FieldEdge ate our profits with their subscription hikes, now we're back to Google Sheets for tracking gravel hauls.

These software companies are vampires, charging premium for features that barely work on dusty job sites with spotty signal.

Ugh, yeah, nothing worse than an app failing right when you need to clock out after a long day of planting.

Haha, I once had Housecall route me to the wrong zip code, ended up trimming some random guy's bushes for free.

Apps suck, but at least they beat calling around for last-minute changes on irrigation runs.

Totally get the frustration, been there with delayed sod jobs myself.
