been using Jobber for scheduling our weekly lawn maintenance routes, but damn if it doesn't glitch out every time we try to drag and drop for the commercial mulch jobs. out here in central California, mostly ag and ranch work, so we've got fields that need irrigation checks and trimming around the edges, but the app keeps overlapping shifts and I've had to manually call guys twice this week already. saw a similar rant in the Lawn Care Professionals Facebook group about how it handles seasonal changes, but no real fixes. anyone switched to something better like Route4Me for the routing part? it's killing my mornings.

don't rely on software for critical routes, had a crew show up late to a big sod install and lost the client because of it.

software is supposed to save time, not create more headaches.

exactly, always double check manually.

fuck these apps, they charge us an arm and a leg then can't even handle basic overlap detection for trimming crews.

it's the tech bros who never set foot on a job site building this crap.

and the support is a joke, wait times longer than a drought.

psa: test your schedules in off hours, saved my ass from a double booking on a landscape renovation last month.

good tip, but still wish the app was more reliable.

tried to schedule a full yard aeration job and it routed us through rush hour traffic, wasted two hours.

haha, at least it didn't send you to the wrong state like it did my buddy's irrigation crew.

switch to ServiceTitan if you're doing a lot of commercial, their routing integrates better with GPS for lawn services.

big corps like Home Depot are eating small ops alive with their fancy software mandates on subs.

ugh, totally get the frustration, been there with overlapping shifts on bush trimming days.

yeah, mornings suck when you're fixing software screwups instead of mowing.

man, the drag and drop bugs are real, lost a half day on a flower bed install because of it.

i hear ya, it's like the app hates seasonal landscaping work.

commiserating hard, same glitches on my end with route planning for sod deliveries.

we're all in this together, software ain't built for the dirt and unpredictability of landscaping.

try Connecteam, it's cheaper and handles crew notifications better without the glitches.

these apps are turning us into desk jockeys instead of getting out in the field.

i feel that, especially with the manual overrides eating into profit time.

SharkBite level controversy: Jobber is overrated for anything beyond basic mowing schedules.

warning: don't upgrade mid-season, it resets all your custom fields for plant installs and you're screwed.

what's your crew size? maybe a simpler tool like Google Calendar with add-ons could bridge the gap.
